David clearly knows the business inside out and seems to me to be completely honest and fair when it comes to valuing & buying records. Not only this but he is a very open, likeable and friendly man such that the whole process was a pleasure. I am glad that I have met David and hope he goes from strength to strength! Don’t normally post public reviews but make an exception with David and the Little Record Shop. He came round within half an hour of contacting and gave a fair price for around 150 LPs. I’m kind of shocked at how much vinyl costs. Particularly 80s and early 90s records that I thought weren’t worth too much. But David gave a fair offer and I accepted. Would recommend.

I had a collection of 850 records that I needed to sell. After a Google search I found David, and his reviews seemed good. I contacted him on a Sunday, within a few hours we had arranged for him to view my collection the next day. David arrived on time. We had a pleasant few hours together whilst he went through the records. He didn’t take all of my records, just the ones he knew he could sell, so keep that in mind. Also, he won’t buy ‘charity shop ” records (we all know the ones). He offered me a good price for the ones he wanted, and advised me how I could sell what was left. All in all a great experience,I would recommend David to anyone.

The Little Record Shop in Crouch End is my favourite record shop in London by miles… There is always a superb selection of records. My tastes are for metal, classic rock, progressive rock and jazz rock and I always find something I want. Really superb selection… But also David, the proprietor, is super nice. He knows all his customers personally, and always makes conversation, and goes out of his way to give you a good discount, especially if you buy a few records together… Definitely the best in town… Head down there!

Truly wonderful! An amazing selection of vinyl, very fairly priced and in great condition. Store owner David is a true pro, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. There is nothing quite like an old vinyl LP and this place is testament to this, it’s pure vinyl heaven! Definitely recommend.
